At present, over 6000 full-time students are studying on campus. The enrollment is oriented to the students from 23 provinces or regions and in 2004, the college started to enroll oversee students from India , Nepal and other countries. Since the establishment of the college, 20,000 students have graduated from the college and most of them have become the backbones in the region-wide medical and health care field.
Post Graduate Courses
In 1978, the college began its enrollment of postgraduates. Since 1986, the college has been authorized successively to confer the Master Degree on 18 subjects. In 2000, the college was approved by the Degree Committee of the State Council as pilot unit to confer the Master Degree on Clinical Medicine, and start to confer the Master Degrees to the in-service applicants with the equivalent academic backgrounds. Now, there are 374 postgraduates on campus.
