Up to now, the college has established friendly and collaborative relations with a number of various medical and research institutions both at home and abroad for academic exchange and cooperative researches. These institutes include Medical School of Shimane University, Medical School of Yamagata University, American Hawaii University, Australian Medical College of Queensland University, Shandong University, Nanjing Medical University, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Fujian Medical University, Fujian Traditional Chinese Medicine College, the Second Military Medical University, Medical College of Peking University, Medical College of Fudan University, Medical College of Xi'an Jiaotong University.          

From the 90s, the college has won about 90 honorary titles, such as the “Advanced Unit in Comprehensive Administration in Yinchuan”, the “Garden Style Unit”, the “Advance Unit in Collegiate Ideological & Political Education of Ningxia”, the “Advanced Unit of Arts Work”, the “Top Twenty Units with Green Project in Schools”, the “Advanced Unit with Legal System”, the “Advance Unit in Hygiene”, the “Advanced Unit of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region”, and the “Advanced Unit in Collegiate Patriotism Education”, etc.       

Over 40 famous domestic and foreign experts have been conffered upon the titles of Honorary Professors or Guest Professors. Dr. Gajdosek, the Nobelist in Medicine, Acadmedemician Wang Zhongcheng, Fan Daiming, Yang Xiongli have been one of them.
